I went there today with the CTC and there’s a notice up to say that the cafe will close at the end of October. it seems the current tenants no longer wish to carry on.

Might be worth considering whilst Long Clawson and Hickling Cafes are shut. I’ve not been but the Vale of Belvoir Ladies have and recommend it. Prices look quite reasonable and it’s open everyday. h

On The Sands cafe is changing hands on Dec 23rd, being taken on by the current chef, but is closing for a refurb, probably for the whole month of January, so worth checking before you next go there. T
