Received this by e-mail to the Club:
"Hi Sherwood CC,
I wanted to extend a warm welcome to you all to Cafe Allez! Belvoir Castle, which Claire and I recently opened.
We're in the visitor car park, most of you will know that our building offers fairly limited indoor seating (~25) but extensive outdoor seating and the best view in the Vale(?). And definitely the best cycle artwork!
We're also striving to offer the best coffee (with beans as always from 200 Degrees, the Nottingham roasters); home baked cakes and scones; Veloforte bars for powerful but natural nutrition; bacon & sausage cobs and more food to come as we roll out the menu.
We stock a range of emergency get-you-home spares and you can charge your phone / Garmin and fill your bidons here for free...
Would love to see you on your journeys through the Vale! We currently open every day, 9am-5pm except for Weds & Thus when we close. Please could you spread the word within the club, ideally on your Facebook page?
Sincere thanks
Mark

I assume this is the old café building near the entrance to Belvoir Castle and not part of the Engine House development. If anyone knows more, or has visited, please post. Pity they are closed Wednesdays and Thursdays.
I've found a bit more about it now. https://www.visitbelvoir.co.uk/eat/tea-rooms-cafes/
We went along to the Cafe Allez today. Very small inside but there’s plenty of outdoor seating if it’s a nice day. Reasonable prices. They do cakes, sausage and bacon cobs and very nice sourdough toast, which is what we had. Well worth a visit.
Yes, it’s in the Belvoir Castle car park, nothing to do with the Engine House across the road (which also has a cafe called the Fuel Tank).
Cafe Allez is now open on Weds and Thursdays but closed on Fridays.
That's good! Another place for a Wednesday ride.
We went past Cafe Allez today (Weds) and it was closed. It seems they have now reverted to their previous opening hours - closing on Wednesday and Thursday and opening from Friday to Tuesday.
I'm glad we didn't head there today. Their website confirms it is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays:

Went past on Friday and it was open, which further confirms the new opening days.
It closes on Fridays in the summer when the castle is closed, otherwise they don't get a day off, but from September the castle is only open Sundays and ?school holidays, so Cafe Allez changes to being closed Weds/Thurs, open Fri-Tues, 9-5
