After nearly three years of riding tubeless road tyres I got my first puncture today. Not exciting news I know, but notable in that I didn't have a clue I'd punctured until I got home and noticed orange latex (orange seal) all up my seat tube and saddle. Now the obvious downside is I've got to clean it all off, but on checking the tyre there was no noticeable deflation, and the hole was 2-3 mm so not a small puncture. I reckon it happened in the morning as I'd noticed some orangy / brown blobs on my top tube at the cafe, but thought it was muck. Not saying it's a superior system to inner tubes cos of the faff involved, but on this occasion it worked well, with no roadside hold ups, so a thumbs up from me!
