I thought it might be useful, given the weather, to list roads that we know are flooded.
Caythorpe to Hoveringham - by Ferry Farm, was still flooded today.
Gunthorpe and Trent Lane were Ok, though a bit messy with gravel on the corner by the marina. Fiskerton was also ok, although the river was very high (within 9 inches of the top of the bank) and any further rain might cause it to burst again.
The road from Blidworth Bottoms up to Blidworth was flooded for a short stretch this morning, but passable.
The trouble is things change by the hour. Stoke Lane at Stoke Bardolph was said to be closed this morning (Radio Nottingham), but I think it was open later.
I look on https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/planning-and-environment/emergencies-and-disruption/current-disruption but it is not always up to date.
The road between Harby and Hose is currently closed. Might be possible to get through on a bike but I haven’t tried. Not sure if this is due the flooding or whether they are clearing the ditches to try and sort the flooding out.
