Can you impress on your members that cycle through quiet nottinghamshire villages in large groups to please respect the peace and quiet of said villages and not shout to each other at the top of their voices!!"
He probably writes green ink letters to the papers regularly or complains about the church bells being too loud. Tell us the village in question Ed so we can use sign language when we go past.
Don't know where he lives.
Wish I could stop the noise of motorbikes, cars, ambulances, police cars and fire engines through Gedling Village. I think I'll e-mail the British Motorbike Association, AA, RAC, EMAS, Notts Constabulary and the Fire Brigade.
Yes good idea Ed, "Can you impress on your policemen that drive through Nottinghamshire to please respect the peace and quiet of said villages and not to use their noisy sirens!!"
Found a post by arkwrightnut on the Skoda Yeti owners forum! http://www.yetiownersclub.co.uk/forum/10-main-message-centre/3419-maxidot-kph-display.html
Tells us something!
"Has anyone tried to get the maxidot speed display to show mph instead of kph. there is no definite 30mph mark on the analogue speedo but the maxidot will ony show kph. I have been told it is an EU requirement to show both modes on vehicles and as the analogue dial has no kph markings it is illegal to have the maxidot to show mph. Is there a way to get the mph to show in the maxidot? My Yeti is a 2014 silver greenline outdoor and I have been more than satisfied with the vehicle since purchase in Nov 2014."
