shiney new tarmac on the bridge, hopefully a proper fix for those potholes at last!

I was hoping that they would have resurfaced the whole bridge but just a few patch strips here and there. They've hardly touched the northbound lane, which is like riding over a washboard.

    It looks as though we’ve got a short gap in the rain tomorrow. Moderate south westerly and cold. I’d suggest Asfordby Hill, out via Shelford, Old Dalby, ? back via Stathern. About 44 miles. Phil
