Was wondering if it was time for a change of photo on the front page of the website?
Perhaps an informal photo of everyone congregating at the war memorial ? Fabulous though Roger looks in TT mode perhaps a group photo would be a better representation of the club?
If there are no objections to this proposal I'm happy to take a snap this sunday - we are due to have 'glorious' sunshine, so should be a reasonable size group.

Thank God for that. No-one asked my permission - Chris Draper...
Wouldn't be so bad if you could see the full photo which was very good and at a distance!
It would be nice if there was more notice as I know Paul Jones is away this week and I think Giles is too. We can always update it again to be honest.
Maybe a few sitting on the bench and others gathered round. My only issue is I only have a long sleeve jersey.
Need to ensure people turn out in their Sunday best club kit for full effect or are you suggesting informal means they can turn up in anything?
I had hoped to come out and take a few pictures at some point but with racing and family life it's not yet been possible. A group shot for the banner on the website is no good in my opinion, but a new group shot would be good if we could get everyone together at some point. However, the image for the banner needs to have plenty of negative space for overlays, it needs action within the shot and it needs to by eye catching. The shot of Roger is eye catching but it is also a bit niche and a bit too close up, I agree it needs to be changed.
The ideal shot would be taken from a field looking out onto a road with a group of riders in Sherwood kit riding through, it needs to be somewhere quite open and there needs to be a good backdrop for the shot i.e. few building and no pylons etc. It might involve a few passes so I was thinking there must be somewhere near Sibthorpe which will fit the bill, where I can take a few volunteers off from the club run to ride up and down the road for a few takes.
There are a few other places on the site where I'd like to replace some of the stock photography used, but these would be more abstract shots.
