If you look at the picture of Wiggins climbing up and sticking his arms in the air(i think Olympic tt) the union jack is being flown upside down I thought it a bad omen at the time.

No evidence. The MPs report is based on an anonymous source. It's laughable, if they are that sure then they should be named.

And what on earth is an ethical line? They either broke the rules or they didn't. If they did, then where's the evidence?

I agree with the above !In this country we love to deride achievement and constantly do the NHS down who work miracles. We praise and worship over paid prima donas who have to be rested if they play more than 2 games of 90 mins duration in a week.CYCLISTS show the hard work and sweat that the workforce of this country are going to have to find when we come out of the EU wether they like it or not.BUT SEEING OUR FLAG UPSIDE DOWN ALWAYS FILLS ME WITH FOREBODING.------WING NUT

dress it up how you like a cheat is still a cheat

surely if you can't clearly show that a rule has been broken with evidence supported by a person or persons then how have you cheated. We are in danger of saying that it is not Ethical for one rider to have a better bike than the others. We had a similar situation with the hour record.they all have to ride similar bikes did those who rode strange positions cross an ethical line????????? wing nut.

It could be that some people just can't stand it when the British win. Is it possible by granting him a T U E the authorities crossed an ETHICAL LINE????????? Perhaps if you need medication you are not fit enough to race as a PRO. I think Dave Lloyd was refused a licence because of an irregular heart beat.(from distant memory)

Is an ethical line going to be an unwritten rule to be decided as and when by MP's on a whim, if so GOD HELP US ! (because in my 50 plus years of being Politically aware they have never got anything right--------very good at setting up an enquiry---------wing nut

MPs are the last people to be lecturing others about crossing ethical lines.

Steve Redgrave doesn't think Wiggo is a cheat, but then what does he know, he's only a 4 time Olympic medalist. Woody obviously knows best.

you do not go from a 14stone track rider to a 10stone tour winner and lose no power in that short a time without a little help

Short time? The last time he seriously did the track was 2008. He won the Tour in 2012. Even i could lose 4 stone in 4 years.

I have lost 5lbs 'since Christmas ,BUT I HAVEN'T GOT 4STONE TO LOOSE so I cant carry out an experiment.BECAUSE of this I am climbing marginally better but no matter how much I loose I am still an old man.If things go on like this they will say that Frank Colden crossed an ethical line by using gears to beat all the others using fixed he said train the mind and the body will follow.Untill conclusive evidence is produced I think we should let the matter rest !!! wing nut

I can't loose any or I would go out with the bath water !TREVOR would be a shadow of his former self if he joined your challenge I would never recognise him. It would hinder his chances in the freewheeling contest.-------Just get out and ride when you can.-----wing nut

It looks as though we’ve got a short gap in the rain tomorrow. Moderate south westerly and cold. I’d suggest Asfordby Hill, out via Shelford, Old Dalby, ? back via Stathern. About 44 miles. Phil
