I did not know that there was cyclo cross event on in Bingham in fact I only find out about some events by chance.Perhaps some members who are on top of things and possibly riding locally could do a post specifically "advertising" events two weeks ahead.
In the olden days we went to the club room Friday night and got the "info",and we had our RTC handbook and Cycling weekly used to do a whats on feature .OR ARE THERE SPECIFIC SITES YOU CAN GO TO??? ---wing nut
Nobody from the club rides cross or hill climbs for that matter. The Bingham cross is always the 2nd Saturday of October - see . There’s a cross at Holme Pierrepoint in November.
The CTT site gives details of upcoming TTs but it’s not that user friendly. I was looking at watching some Derbyshire hillclimbs but couldnt work out where they were taking place. They only give the course code which means nothing.
is a good site for results.
The best way is to follow all of the above on Facebook, but I imagine you aren’t on Facebook? I can give you a tutorial if you like.
The club has a very active Facebook page with lots more chat than there is on here.
you could also join Strava and see what riding everyone is doing.
I usually try and put these things in the Acorn News, but it often takes a bit of delving. I am willing to publish anything that members pass to me.
Last month, I was struggling to publish the Acorn as my mind wasn't up to it after my accident.
