A cool evening with a NE wind. Jez beat Kev Wood by 6 seconds for the win, and Elaine beat Jo by 4 seconds for fastest woman. No handicap this week, as it’s the first event.

A decent turnout for the last 10. Kevin Wood was fastest club rider, Dan Barnett the fastest rider on the night with a 21.10. A rare tie for First Lady between Jo and Elaine, and Gary Kondor was best on handicap.

We had a torrential downpour just before 7 so delayed the start for 15 mins. 4 people decided not to start, but it was just drizzling a bit as we started. Howard did a pb and Mike and Sam improved on previous rides. Jez was faseast and Elaine was First Lady.

Latest I can find is that Jez Willows reached 351.6 miles in 21h 35min. Must be tough in this heat! I'd had enough after 35 miles at an easy pace today.

Slightly harder night tonight with a northerly wind. Most people went back a few seconds on last week. Kevin Wood fastest club rider again. Simon Cooper best on handicap.

Tom Came off at Oxton Island in the 10 and was taken to hospital. He is quite badly injured with a broken collarbone, pelvis and several broken ribs - see update elsewhere. Mike Hankin and Jim Byatt stopped to help at the scene and were DNF.

A fast night with some good rides. Jez won with 22.55. Dave Trevor continues to improve and took first handicap again.

Another Cold evening but some quick rides - Mat Stonley fastest on the night, Kevin Wood fastest club rider.

Just 3 brave souls for the Boxing Day 10. Not much wind but it was cold with a bit of drizzle which put many off it seems. Kev took the win, from Gary who was on an MTB, with Roger on his trusty Galaxy in 3rd.

Anyone know the fastest time recorded on a road bike on our ten course? I can't remember what bikes Thomas, Cavendish and Clancy rode when they took part in 2005 - anyone know?

Tonight’s 10 results 10/8/21 I’ve just noticed we had a tie for 1st place between Giles and Kevin, with Mike not far behind. I need to get the handicaps from Craig, but I think Howard smashed it with a 2 minute improvement. It was a bit frantic at the finish with 7 riders finishing within about 30 s

The vtta national 25 is rescheduled for 5th September on D25/23 North of Telford

A fast night with several personal and season’s best times. Kev Wood fastest and Gary Kondor best on handicap. Jo finally got her 25 min ride after weeks of trying. A new PB from Elaine and a great first ride from Jess Mitchell, beating her dad by 3 mins.

Quite a fast night with a few season’s best times. Jez was fastest with a 22.32 and Elaine won the handicap with a 27.33. Not a bad turn out, considering the football was on at the same time.
