A cool morning with a light breeze saw 11 riders start. A nice turnout of 7 Sherwood members plus 4 very welcome Private Triallists.
Chris Draper made an appearance but chose not to race due to a technical issue.
Ghisli Jenkins took the win by a good margin with an outstanding effort with Gary Kondor taking 2nd place outright followed by Paul Jones for 3rd place.
Paul Jones took the win on handicap from Gary Kondor so that will be interesting to see in the points stakes.
Glen Beaver's first TT saw him break the hour by a good margin.
Fastest overall on time was Stewart Bates of Nottingham Clarion CC with a storming 49:09.
Of special note, was the effort by Ian Bittiner, a private triallist, who managed 55:46 for his first ever time trial on a road bike but his lap splits were only 9/100ths of a second apart. (27:53.07/27:53.16). Talk about close!

Howard's time is 1:16:00 according to my maths.
Indeed it is. Too many chatty TT'ers swarming around me trying to paw over their figures whilst we were still timing...
