A sudden change in the weather with a strong NE wind and much colder than of late didn't deter 14 in the Easy Group from going to The Limes. Some busy and rough roads but an old Saturday morning Parrot Run route.
Hillier than many of our rides, but it was good return with welcome wind assistance.
Good to get a bit of hill work in. In fact I peeled off through Woodborough on way home and looped to Calverton to get some extra hill work in.
The 2 Sues and I didn't fancy going through Calverton so continued up the main road and took in Oxton Bank and Eakring hill to end up at Kneesall cafe. Back through Hockerton, Southwell and Bleasby for 52 miles for me.
I thought about Kneesall as a venue, but not possible with a group of 17.
Yes, the cafe was fairly busy, so a big group wouldn't have got in.
