Weds 14th November

in What have you done today?

12 people in the easy group. With a strong SW wind we headed out to Granby, Langar and Colston Bassett to Kinoulton, then up the hill to Widmerpool. The road here was covered in hedge clippings but luckily no-one punctured. On to Willoughby and back to Hickling for tea. With the wind at our backs we headed back through the Cropwells. With Oatfield Lane closed, the group took the left fork in Cropwell Butler to head to Radcliffe past the golf course, then back through Shelford to Lowdham.

Another warm day. I ended up with 44 miles but the wind and hills cut our average down to 14.4 mph.
