The Easy Weds group went out through Bottesford to Woolsthorpe and climbed up onto the ridge via the Belvoir road. We had a touch of wheels going through Eastwell and Mary came down. Luckily, everyone else stayed upright (just) and after checking that Mary was OK, we carried on past the Fishing Lakes to drop down the hill into Long Clawson and Hickling. Another nice, warm day and we were able to sit outside at the cafe. Back via the usual route with me and Sue turning off near Saxondale. I ended up with 44 miles at 15.7 average.
I hope Mary is OK. She seemed to have a sore shoulder but was able to carry on riding with us.
Hope Mary is OK.
We had a little group (some regulars on holiday) and went to Stathern. 42 gentle miles for me.
A chilly start but it was pleasant sitting in the sunshine outside the café.
